SFNOMA serves as a forum for Bay Area minority architects. And we are dedicated to promoting awareness of what our contemporaries are doing locally and around the world in the design field. Some of our past events include the Race and Gender in Architecture Symposium at the California College of the Arts, the Legacy Reception and Exhibit honoring Bay Area minority architects, the Museum of the African Diaspora Tour during its construction, and hosting the 2006 NOMA Conference in San Francisco.
